Yeah t'was a typo on my part. First impression is that it's looking good graphically, good progression from IV, and a nice teaser. Rather be left wanting more than getting over excited over some over baked trailer promising loads then offering little of it, like a Peter Molyneux E3 speech.

Just had a gander at Neogaf to see how the keyboard warriors are getting with their ranting and a few of the guys there have noticed '2405' appearing alot in the trailer (On the curb in the for sale sign scene, on side of delivery van among others), so looking like a early hint at a release date.

I'd likely buy it regardless of trailers and stuff, but that leaves me feeling quite optimistic. Looks great graphically and more fun than 4.

Typo or not, Clarkey's rumour was right. Los Santos and Las Venturas are part of the same vicinity, being they're both part of GTA: San Andreas. To me, going by license plates and the oil well, San Andreas as a whole will be the setting. It'll be interesting to see considering GTA 3 era Liberty City had pretty much nothing to do with GTA 4 Liberty City.

It's looking very much like an iterative improvement on IV to me, rather than the big leap between 2 and 3, and from 3 to 4. Which is a little disappointing, but then there's only so far they'll be able to go on the current gen of console hardware. Here's hoping for a PC version more in line with what's offered by the GTAIV photorealism mod.

Still, a lot of little improvements could go far - I'm hoping for branching storylines, and more realistic AI. Hope they keep the handheld cam thing from the trailer too.

Vice City does rule.

I might need to dust off the PS3 cobwebs for this. Legit couldn't tell you the last time I played it or bought a new game. Shame really.

I loved Vice City & I thought San Andreas was good but I really didn't think much of GTA IV. Still undecided whether I'll get this

I love VC, and SA was huge and did an amazing job of the flying element.... plus that huge ass mountain....and, of course, the purple dildo. GTA IV was a good game, but I think it was over-hyped and short on repeatable content.

Read an article about it in Game Informer. Gonna be three main characters pulling jobs together and you can switch between them mid-mission. They detailed a job where one guy (an air force vet) flies the chopper, one guy repels down the building and busts through a window, and the third is sniping from the building across the way.

Sounded so sick. Takes place in San Andreas, but only LA, no Vegas or San Fran.

Is it wrong that I'm REALLY not bothered about this game?
Nah mate, same. San Andreas was so good, but IV was a let down and I lost interest, plus similar games have been released like Sleeping Dogs and the last Saints Row that were far more fun.

Same here. Between GTA, Saints Row & other stuff like Sleeping Dogs the whole genre has been done to death. Not excited about this at all
